Requirements
At KellyKanine, we have established a set of requirements to ensure we can meet the needs of every dog in our care while maintaining a safe environment for both pets and staff. We kindly ask that you review and respect these requirements, and only proceed with a booking if your dog is applicable.
We appreciate your cooperation in meeting these requirements, by proceeding with your booking & agreeing with our terms, you confirm that your dog meets the criteria below. We reserve the right to decline or discontinue services if a dog is found to be unsuitable at any time.

- Fully vaccinated (proof required)
- Free from contagious illnesses or parasites
- Microchipped
- Able to socialise safely with other dogs
- Comfortable with being handled
- Does not demonstrate aggression towards humans or other dogs
- Does not display excessive mounting behaviour
- Does not have destructive tendencies
Certificates
Between a lifelong passion for animals and completing my studies with NC Animal Care, I have gained extensive experience working with a wide variety of species, including dogs. I have also earned certificates in several specialised areas, see below

Regulations
As a matter of legal obligations, we are unable to accept any dogs listed under the UK dangerous dog act 1991.
Small Dog Walks
This service is exclusively designed for small breeds only.
Small Dog Walks are perfect for busy owners or those who require an extra helping hand. Each 30 minute walk is tailored to your pups needs - perhaps a peaceful stroll through the street or local park, or a scenic spot a short drive away if you're happy to cover fuel costs.
With KellyKanine, you can enjoy peace of mind knowing your dog is in caring & capable hands.

House Calls
If you’re unfamiliar with the term, “House Calls” simply refers to home visits for your dog. This service is available for many dogs, unless stated otherwise within our Dog Requirements / Regulations.
Our house visits begin at a one hour minimum and can be extended up to 12 hours, depending on your dog’s individual needs. Whether your pup needs feeding, let outside for a toilet break, enrichment time, or would simply benefit from some gentle company while you’re away - we’re here to ensure they feel safe & well cared for, in the comfort of their own home. Note that if your address resides outwith West Lothian there will be a follow up invoice sent to your email for you to cover fuel costs (£1.50/mile) after booking, which must be paid before the booking date. Thank you for your cooperation.

Double rates
Please note that double rates apply on several peak holiday dates, including:
Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day. These are particularly busy times, so booking in advance is highly recommended to avoid disappointment and secure your space.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations can be made free of charge up to 48 hours before your scheduled booking. Rescheduling is also welcome within the timeframe, subject to availability. You can access this through the booking email you will be sent straight after booking or contact us to reschedule.
If a cancellation is required within 48 hours of your booking, we may be unable to accommodate it. In these circumstances, please reach out to our email contact@kellykanine.com or through our live chat system to resolve this directly with our team.
